ColdCallBlocker™ for Windows Mobile™ User Guide - Main Window

After the installation process is complete, ColdCallBlocker™ can be launched on your Windows Mobile™ phone by selecting the ColdCallBlocker™ icon that appears on the main menu of the device. This is how our application appears on Windows Mobile™ devices:

This window shows the current operational status of your installation of ColdCallBlocker™ along with information about the last call you have received.

As is usually the case with any Windows Mobile™ application, at the bottom of the screen are two option buttons. For the ColdCallBlocker™ app these buttons are "Enable/Disable" and "Menu". Use the "Enable/Disable" button to quickly turn call filtering on or off. All other application functionality is accessed using the main menu which appears when you press the "Menu" button.

The main menu is illustrated above and it contains the following options:

• Blocked Callers

  Displays the "Blocked Callers" screen where you are able to enter the details of anyone you want to add to your personal list of blocked callers.

• Report Cold-Call

  Use this option to report the last incoming call you received as being a new cold-caller. Using this option, rather than the previously mentioned personal blocked callers list, will distribute details about this caller to other users of ColdCallBlocker™.

• Update

  Use this option to download the latest cold-calling patterns to your phone if you have an active subscription to the ColdCallBlocker Network™.

• Test

  After installing the application for the first time, the "test mode" functionality provided by this option can be used to verify that your phone is compatible with ColdCallBlocker™.

• Options

  Selecting this menu option will display a sequence of configuration screens for controlling how your installation of ColdCallBlocker™ operates allowing you to customize it to fit your needs.

• About

  This option displays diagnostic information about the ColdCallBlocker™ application installed on your device.

• View Web Site

  Upon selecting this option you will be taken to the ColdCallBlocker™ mobile web site where you are able to edit your account details and learn about new updates.

• Exit

  Use this option to completely close down the ColdCallBlocker™ application if your device is running low on memory. Needless to say, doing so will disable all filtering functionality.
